Summer Play Scheme

Each summer we offer a unique and exciting play scheme. We are able to ensure that the play scheme caters for the specific needs and interests of our children because we know our children so well.  Our new purpose built building allows us to offer a personalised timetable of activities, designed to nurture and inspire our children’s interests. We are able to offer lots of exciting and fun activities on-site, including regular swimming sessions in our pool and outdoor activities utilising our wide range of play spaces. The play scheme is staffed by Willow Dene employees, meaning that the care our children receive is quality assured and that there is continuity of care between school and the play scheme.

Our location allows us to access a plethora of external activities and we endeavour to maximise these opportunities. Every day we visit a local place of interest, including local parks and play spaces and even attend specially held ASD Friendly screenings of the latest films hosted by Greenwich Picture House.

Our scheme runs for two weeks and is extremely popular due to the specialised provision we provide. Interest is always high and places fill quickly. It is open to all children of statutory school age and supported by our school nursing team in collaboration with Oxleas Health Trust.
